No alarms go off on publication day. No national holiday, or mentions on the news. It's as special as you make it, and in these days of social media, it can be very special indeed. There's been an outpouring of warmth for These Days of Ours, and it's especially welcome because, with my usual spot-on timing, I'm not well.
Nothing interesting, you understand, just a vague lurgy. The posh dinner reservation has been cancelled, and the celebration will consist of fish and chips in front of our hundredth viewing of Doris Day in Pillow Talk.
These Days of Ours is available from Amazon from April 7th.
